How to submit a new hire request?

Hiring new talent through the Horizons platform is a straightforward and efficient process. Whether you're bringing on full-time employees or contractors, we guide you through every step, ensuring compliance and ease.


Starting the Process:

  1. Navigate to the "New Hire" Tab.

  2. Choose the Type of Hire:

    • Select whether you are hiring a Full-Time Employee or a Contractor.

  3. Click "Hire" to Proceed.


For Full-Time Employees:

  1. Select the Location and Number of Employees:

    • Choose the country where the hire will be located.

    • Enter the number of employees you wish to hire.

  2. Input Employee Information:

    • Click "Continue" and fill in all necessary details for the new hire.

    • Our user-friendly onboarding workflow will guide you through local specifications. If you're unsure about any step, click the ‘Get Support’ button at the bottom right of the platform. Our local onboarding specialists are ready to assist.

  3. Contract Generation and Review:

    • After submitting the details, Horizons will generate a locally compliant employment contract within 24 hours.

    • You will be guided through local labor law stipulations, and you can clarify any questions with our experts.

  4. Finalize the Onboarding Process:

    • After your review and approval, Horizons handles obtaining the candidate's signature, completing the administrative onboarding, and setting up payroll in the designated country.

 

For Contractors:

  1. Provide Contractor Details:

    • Enter all relevant details, including the job description, compensation, payment type, and start date.

  2. Review the Contractor Agreement:

    • Horizons will generate a compliant Independent Contractor Agreement for your review and approval.

Keeping Track of the Onboardings:

  • The Onboarding Overview Page provides an easy way to monitor the status of all ongoing onboardings for both full-time employees and contractors.

  • The Onboarding Assistant feature, located at the top right, offers a snapshot of the three-step process:

    1. Add New Hire

    2. Approve Contract

    3. Candidate Signature
