What are the standard probation periods in the Philippines?

In the Philippines, the maximum probationary employment period is six months from the employee's start date, unless an apprenticeship agreement specifies a longer duration.
An employee may be terminated during this period for just cause or failure to meet the employer's standards, communicated at the start of employment. If an employee continues to work beyond this period without termination for just cause, they are considered a regular employee.
