What job titles can be used in the Philippines?
At Horizons, we maintain a consistent internal job title framework for all team members in the Philippines. All local employees are assigned the job title of Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in our internal systems.
Why This Matters
This standardization supports local compliance and administrative processes. It also ensures alignment across our internal records and systems.
No Exceptions in Employment Agreements
Please note: We cannot make any exceptions to this policy when it comes to employment agreements in the Philippines. All official documentation, including contracts and government filings, must reflect the title Project Manager or Senior Project Manager only. This is a strict legal and operational requirement and applies to all hires in the region.
External Job Titles
While internal job titles are standardized, employees can use their functional job titles externally, including on:
- Business cards
- Email signatures
- LinkedIn profiles
- Client-facing communications
