How to upload the renew the ID expiring for renewal

Introduction
You may receive a system notification email from Horizons reminding you that an ID document you provided during your onboarding process is due to expire.
To ensure your records remain up to date and compliant, please follow this step-by-step guide to upload a renewed version of your ID in the portal
Step 1: Log in to the System
- Open your web browser and navigate to the Horizons employee portal.
- Enter your username and password to log in securely.
Step 2: Locate Your ID in "My Profile"
- Once logged in, go to the "My Profile" section. This is typically found in the top-right menu or within your personal dashboard.
- Scroll to the area where your identification documents are stored.
Step 3: Edit Your ID Details
- Find the ID document that is nearing expiry (e.g., passport, driving licence, or residence permit).
- Click the "Edit" button (as shown in the illustration below) next to the relevant ID.
(Note: The edit button is usually represented by a pencil icon or the word "Edit".)
Step 4: Upload Your Renewed ID and Update Expiry Date
- You will be prompted to upload a scanned copy or clear photo of your new, valid ID document. Click "Upload File" and select the file from your device.
- Ensure the uploaded document is legible and complete.
- Update the "Effective From" & "Effective Till" field with the new expiration date of your ID.
- Once completed, review the information for accuracy and click "Save" or "Submit" to confirm the changes.
