Is a medical check-up for employees mandatory in Spain?
In Spain, routine medical check-ups for employees are not mandatory by default. However, under the Prevention of Occupational Hazards Law (Ley de Prevención de Riesgos Laborales), employers are obligated to offer this service if requested by the employee.
At Horizons, we are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all employees. We work with CESA Prevención, a certified local occupational health provider, to deliver medical check-ups and other workplace safety services.
