What are the annual leaves in Taiwan?
In Taiwan, annual leave entitlements are governed by the Labor Standards Act, and are based on an employee’s length of continuous service with the same employer. Employees begin to earn paid annual leave after completing 6 months of employment.
Annual Leave Accrual by Seniority:
6 months to 1 year of service → 3 days of paid leave per year
1 to 2 years → 7 days per year
2 to 3 years → 10 days per year
3 to 5 years → 14 days per year
5 to 10 years → 15 days per year
Over 10 years → An additional 1 day per year, up to a maximum of 30 days total
