When will Team Members receive expense reimbursements?

When it comes to reimbursing expenses to the employees, we at Horizons follow a cut-off date to ascertain the payout month for such claims being approved on our portal.

Except the expense claimed by your employee working in China & Taiwan, any expense claim approved prior to the 5th of a month is paid out with the salary of the same month's payroll cycle, whereas the claims approved post the 5th will be added to the payroll of the succeeding month. 


The expenses reimbursement is usually being paid in a separate remittance after the salary payment, which can be made a couple of days later than salary payout. 


If the employee have any issue for the expense, please raise the queries through Help Widget with Horizons Portal to reach out Horizons Support. 


Example 1:

Jane submits her expense claim and approved by all approvers in accordance to the policy assigned on the 3rd of May. Given that her submission turns "Approved" is before the 5th, her reimbursement will be processed with her May salary.


Example 2:

Mark files his expense claim approved by all approvers in accordance to the policy assigned on the 7th of June. Since his claim was approved after the 5th, he will receive his reimbursement with his July salary.



Please refer to the Payroll Calendar of the country in which the employee works for the exact dates of payment.
