What is the recommended work setup for EOR employees in Hong Kong?
When engaging an employee through Horizons’ Employer of Record (EOR) service in Hong Kong, it is strongly recommended that the employee works from home (remote setup only).
This recommendation is based on both practical and compliance-related considerations.
What This Means for Clients
Clients should not provide a fixed office location for the EOR employee.
If in-person meetings or occasional access to client space is required, it should be limited and clearly documented as non-regular.
Horizons will document the employee's residential address as the primary work location.
