Annual Leave Entitlements
- Standard Leave: Employees are entitled to a minimum of 21 days of paid annual leave per year.
- Extended Leave: Employees receive 30 days of paid annual leave per yearif they:
- Have completed 10 years of employment in their overall career.
- Are over the age of 50 years.
Usage Rules
- Employees must take at least 6 continuous days of leave per year to ensure proper rest.
- Leave must be planned and approved in coordination with the employer.
Leave Accrual
- First Year: Leave is pro-rated during the first year of employment.
- Eligibility: Employees are entitled to annual leave after 6 months of employment.
- Full Entitlement: From the second year onward, employees receive their full leave entitlement.
Carryover and Cash-Out Rules
- Carryover: Accrued but unused annual leave can be carried over to the next year.
- Cash-Out: Employers are required to cash out unused leave every 3 years, ensuring employees receive fair compensation for accumulated leave.
