What does Horizons provide for annual tax filing fofr employees in the Netherlands?

As Employer of Record (EOR), Horizons is committed to meeting all legal obligations to ensure you can complete your annual income tax return accurately and on time.


In accordance with Dutch tax regulations, Horizons will provide you with the Annual Statement (Jaaropgave). The Jaaropgave is a summary of your annual earnings and withholdings for the previous calendar year. It includes:

  • Total gross salary paid

  • Payroll taxes withheld (including income tax and national insurance contributions)

  • Pension contributions (if applicable)

  • Other relevant deductions or allowances processed through payroll

This document is essential for completing your income tax return (aangifte inkomstenbelasting) with the Belastingdienst (Dutch Tax Authority).


Horizons will issue your Jaaropgave no later than March 1st following the end of the tax year, as required by Dutch law.
