Below are the public holidays observed in Israel as non working days:

  • April 2 - April 8 : Passover (Pesach)
  • April 22: Independence Day (Yom Ha'atzmaut)
  • May 22: Shavuot (Pentecost, first day)
  • July 22: Tisha B’Av (Ninth of Av) 
  • Sat-Sun, Sep 12-13: Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year – Day 1 & Day 2) 
  • Sep 21: Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)
  • Sep 26: Sukkot
  • Oct 3: Simchat Torah
  • Dec 4 - Dec 12:  Hanukkah, a religious observance holiday, work requirements remain unchanged.
