Can employment agreements be backdated in Cyprus?
No, employment agreements in Cyprus cannot be backdated.
However, under Horizons’ setup, the agreement may be signed within 7 days after the official employment start date, as permitted by local regulations. The employment start date must still be clearly stated in the contract.
