What is the standard employment agreement Horizons offers in Greece?
Horizons offers unlimited (open-ended) employment agreements as the standard for both full-time and part-time roles in Greece. This structure aligns with local labor laws and supports long-term stability for both employees and clients.
Fixed-term agreements are not offered due to strict legal restrictions and significant financial risk. Under Greek law, early termination of a fixed-term contract requires the employer to pay all outstanding wages and benefits through the original end date, without any cap, making these agreements potentially very costly.
To ensure full compliance and minimize risk, Horizons exclusively uses unlimited agreements in Greece. For more information about employment terms or local requirements, please contact your Horizons representative.
