Each type is designed to align with Georgian labor laws and suit different employment needs, including compliance for foreign employees.
1. Unlimited Employment Agreements

Unlimited contracts have no fixed end date and are suitable for ongoing employment relationships. This is a standard option available for both local and foreign employees.
2. Fixed-term Employment Agreements

Full-time positions
Part-time positions

Minimum: 1 year

Mandatory for expats (foreign employees) under Article 12, Clause 3 of the Labor Migration Law.
Contracts shorter than 1 year are not allowed unless a specific, justified reason is provided e.g. seasonal work, temporary replacement of an employee.
Contracts longer than 30 months are not permitted and will be automatically converted into unlimited contracts.
For foreign employees, Horizons strictly adheres to the legal requirement of fixed-term contracts up to 30 months. These guidelines ensure full compliance with Georgian labor and immigration law.
