How can an employee submit a resignation through the Horizons Platform?
As the Employer of Record (EOR), Horizons ensures that the resignation process is handled smoothly and in full compliance with local labor laws, for both employees and clients.

The following guide outlines the steps an employee should follow to submit their resignation via the Horizons platform. Once submitted, Horizons will manage the process, providing comprehensive support throughout the transition.
Step 1: Access the Horizons Plafrorm and view the Profile
The first step for the employee is to log in to the Horizons platform using their credentials. Once logged in, the employee should navigate to their profile by clicking on "My Profile".
Step 2: Click on “Actions”
In the profile section, the employee will see the “Actions” button. By clicking this, the available options will appear in a dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select “Resign”
From the dropdown menu, the employee selects the “Resign” option. This is the formal action to initiate their resignation.
Step 4: Confirmation and Next Steps
Select the desired end date. Important Note: review your employment agreement to ensure you are observing the legal notice period. Confirm the resignation by setting the tick in the checkbox and clicking "confirm".
Once the resignation is submitted, Horizons will automatically be notified. We will then:
Reach out to the employee directly to confirm their resignation details.
Work with the employee to determine their intended final working day.
Ensure all legal and contractual obligations are met.
Support communication between Horizons, the employee, and the client to maintain a smooth transition.
