New York City has taken a significant step forward in ensuring fair labor practices and workplace equality with the introduction of the Workers Bill of Rights. This legislation mandates that all employers provide their employees, job applicants, and independent contractors working in NYC with a document outlining their rights and protections under Federal, State, and Local laws.
